كيف يصنّف Instagram نوعي الفيديو
Instagram treats Reels and feed videos as related but not identical surfaces. Reels live in the Reels tab and vertical player, with share links that almost always include /reel/ or /reels/. Feed videos sit inside a normal post on your timeline or profile grid; their share links usually use the classic /p/ path even when the media is a video clip.
Older “IGTV” style long-form clips also tend to surface as feed-style posts rather than Reels URLs. If you opened the clip from the home feed grid or a profile post (not the Reels tray), start with the video tool unless the copied link clearly contains /reel/.
Use the Reels tool when
Open the منزّل ريلز Instagram when:
- The share link contains
/reel/or/reels/ - You opened the clip from Instagram’s Reels tab or a Reels player
- You want short-form vertical video with audio kept when the source provides it
- Someone sent you a Reel sticker or “Share Reel” link from Direct
The Reels page prioritizes Reel-style streams and labels results for that workflow. That reduces mistakes where a feed-oriented resolve path returns incomplete or mismatched media for a Reel URL.
Use the Video tool when
Open the Instagram video downloader when:
- The link is a normal feed post with a video (
/p/URLs that play as video) - You are saving longer public clips historically labeled IGTV or in-feed video
- You are unsure of the type but the URL is clearly not a photo-only post and does not contain
/reel/ - The post sits on a profile grid as a video thumbnail rather than in the Reels tray
If Instappa surfaces photo-only options, switch to the image downloader or carousel downloader instead. A silent still or multi-slide album will never become an MP4 on the video page.
How to tell them apart in Instagram
- انسخ الرابط from Share → Copy link (prefer the full
https://www.instagram.com/…URL). - Look at the path:
/reel/means Reels;/p/is usually a feed post (photo, video, or carousel). - On a
/p/post, open it logged out. If it is a still image or multi-slide album, use Image or Carousel — not Video or Reels. - If the player is vertical and the app UI says “Reel,” trust that label even when the caption looks like a normal post.
الخلط الشائع وماذا تفعل
- Reel pasted into the video tool. Switch to ريلز and retry once. Do not assume the post is private until the matching tool fails too.
- Feed video pasted into Reels. Move to فيديو. Reels-oriented pages expect Reel URL shapes.
- You want audio only. Use the audio downloader with a public Reel or video post that exposes audio — not the image tool.
- Carousel with a video slide. Prefer the carousel downloader when you need every slide, including mixed photo/video albums.
لماذا Instappa splits the tools
Instagram exposes different media graphs for Reels and feed posts. Keeping separate tools lets each page ask for the right streams, show clearer errors, and avoid mixing photo downloads into a video workflow. It also helps you land on the page that matches what you searched for, which matters for clarity when several Instappa URLs look similar.
Splitting tools is also about honest scope: each page documents what it can and cannot resolve. If a Reel link fails on the video page (or the reverse), switch tools before assuming the post is private. For other failure modes — privacy, expiry, throttling — see Instagram link won’t resolve and public vs private Instagram.
تذكير: عام فقط
Both the Reels and video downloaders only work with links that Instagram exposes without a login. Private accounts, Close Friends clips, and deleted posts will not resolve on either page. Public visibility also does not grant commercial reuse rights — see copyright and personal use.
Quick decision
- URL has /reel/ → Reels downloader
- Feed video /p/ → Video downloader
- Still photo → Image downloader
- Multiple slides → Carousel downloader
- Sound / MP3 from a public clip → Audio downloader
