Expect one downloadable file per public slide Instagram exposes. Mixed albums can return JPG for photo frames and MP4 for video frames. If Instagram hides a slide behind a privacy change mid-album, that frame will not appear — Instappa cannot invent missing slides.

What does not work

Private accounts and private posts cannot be downloaded — there is no login bypass. Single-photo posts and reel covers belong on Image, not Carousel. Incomplete results usually mean Instagram did not expose every slide publicly — not that the album is “half saved” on purpose. Deleted albums, truncated URLs, and Stories links also fail here.
